Hi! My name is Rachel Kalis. In early 2016, I had the opportunity to become a groomers assistant to a well respected groomer of over 20 years. Right away, I was told I had the natural talent to be a certified groomer. My whole life, I have always been an animal lover and my experience in animal care started long before my grooming career. While grooming wasn’t always my plan, when I started I knew instantly that this was something I not only really enjoyed, but was good at. I decided to pursue a career in grooming with the dream of opening my own salon. On February 2, 2022 I fulfilled that dream and officially opened New Leash On Life Dog Grooming.

At New Leash on Life Dog Grooming, I strive to create a comfortable, safe, and cheerful environment for my doggy clients. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds of all shapes, sizes and coat types, and will gladly groom them all!
